IQBOWSERS was not built in a boardroom. One of our founders was navigating cancer, disability and a wilderness with no map. Bedford Council gave him a compass. He built the rest.
Guided by Bedford Council, Wenta and DWP — we learned how to build a business, structure it properly and make it viable. Bedford Council funded our entry into the UKSPF enterprise programme, which gave us the financial foundation to move from idea to operation.
The University of Bedfordshire's Luton AI Programme taught us how to think about our own operations as data — and how to rebuild them digitally. That programme is directly responsible for the autonomous platform IQBOWSERS runs on today: the AI dispatch, the compliance engine, the sensor architecture, the intelligence layer. An academic institution helped build a commercial AI system. We consider that worth acknowledging.
Today IQBOWSERS operates a proprietary full-stack platform — fleet, HR, dispatch, compliance, finance and multi-agent internal AI — built entirely in-house. Social value here is not a procurement checkbox. It is the foundation.
Most bowser companies run on phone calls and spreadsheets. We run on code we wrote ourselves.
We do not count litres. We model them. Consumption is predicted. Deviation is detected. Breach is flagged. Not a human. The maths.

We apply a weighted Dijkstra–A* hybrid over a directed acyclic graph where edge weights encode real-time traffic density ρ, vehicle load m and road-grade energy cost E_g = mgh. The objective function C_out = Σ(d_i · e_i · w_i) is minimised at dispatch. The result: fewer empty miles, lower CO₂, and ESG-compliant sustainability reports generated automatically.
